Ojeda Continues Consistent Championship Charge at Townsville 500

Jayden Ojeda has continued his strong run of form in the Supercars Championship with another consistent points haul at the NTI Townsville 500, recording top-10 finishes in two of the three races at Reid Park Street Circuit.

The PremiAir Racing driver showed solid pace throughout the weekend, continuing to strengthen his position in the fight for a place in the Supercars Finals series.

Ojeda opened the weekend by qualifying and finishing ninth in both qualifying and race 20 on Friday, collecting valuable points after a clean and consistent performance.

Saturday presented a greater challenge. After qualifying 17th, Ojeda made a strong launch off the line before becoming caught up in an incident at Turn 2, dropping him to the rear of the field. A solid recovery drive saw the PremiAir Racing driver fight back to finish 11th.

"The PremiAir guys gave me a fast car today, we'll keep chipping away at things  tomorrow." Ojeda said.

Sunday saw Ojeda return to the top 10, qualifying 10th in the Top 10 Shootout before converting that into a 10th-place finish in Race 22 to cap off a positive weekend for the team.

"Solid weekend for our crew in pit stops and strategy, and a good handful of points to take away!" said Ojeda.

The consistent results delivered another valuable points haul for Ojeda and PremiAir Racing, with the team continuing to build momentum as the battle for a place in the Supercars Finals series intensifies. The championship now heads to the Ipswich Super440 at Queensland Raceway later this month.
