Ojeda Records Pair of Top-10 Finishes at Darwin Triple Crown

Jayden Ojeda has continued his consistent run in the Supercars Championship securing two top-10 finishes during the betr Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley Raceway.

The PremiAir Racing driver showed strong pace throughout the weekend despite limited practice running prior to qualifying, highlighted by a fifth-place starting position for Race 17 — the opening 100km race of the event.

Ojeda opened the weekend by placing himself firmly inside the fight at the front of the field. However, a difficult launch off the line cost valuable track position before recovering to finish ninth at the chequered flag.

"We had a fast car today, starting P5 for Race 17, but just can't buy a start," said Ojeda.

Strong race execution and consistent pace saw Ojeda move forward from P14 on the grid to secure another top-10 finish of tenth place in the 200km Race 18 on Saturday.

The final 200km race of the weekend presented another challenge after narrowly missing a place inside the top-10 in qualifying, once again lining up from 14th on the grid.

Ojeda and the PremiAir Racing crew executed a clean race but ultimately lacked the pace required to make significant progress, finishing in 13th position for Race 19.

"We executed a good race with clean pit stops and a strong strategy, just missed a little bit in pace. All in all, still a positive weekend." Ojeda said.

Darwin proved to be another solid weekend for Jayden and the PremiAir Racing team, with a consistent points haul helping Ojeda move up a position in the championship standings. The focus remains on securing a spot in the finals as attention now turns to the next round of the Supercars Championship in Townsville in three weeks' time.
